Jewish Houses and Shops (1997)

The visitors found many buildings formerly occupied by Jewish residents were preserved and in use by the current inhabitants.

The village grocery store was built on the ruins of the Kupershmit house. The right side of the building was once the Shenk – the Kupershmit bar-restaurant.


Shmuel Englander's family house that was re-built after having been damaged by Nazi bombs during the invasion of 22 of June 1941. The front section, including the windows, survived and was incorporated into the new structure.
