Right: Yerachmiel (Rachmil) Stavsky was murdered by the Nazis along with many of his neighbors and buried in the pit at the north edge of Volchin, 22 September 1942.

Left: Yerachmiel's wife Mindl, née Kupershmit, died before World War II and was buried in the Jewish cemetery in Volchin.
