A butcher. Son of Meir and Itka. Husband of Szprinca, who died by the early-to-mid 1920s. Father of Szymon, Sheine, Itsko/Icko, Reyzl, Chwalysz, Frejda, Doba, and Meyer. Sheine , my g-grandmother, married Moishe Sznajder in Brest in 1908 where all of her children were born. Sheine and all of the children emigrated to New York in 1928. He spent about a year in captivity in the German Stalag camps before being returned to Eastern Europe. He apparently died sometime between Dec. 1940 and Nov. 1943 in the Lipowa 7 camp in Lublin or in the Majdanek death camp. More details.
