About Rabbi Shlomo Galdes
Rabbi Shalom Menashe’s great grandfather was Rabbi Shlomo Galdes, by his first wife.

Rabbi Galdes had a Yeshiva in Brisk. He was the Av Beit Din of Brisk in the years 1753-1796. He died and was buried in Brisk.

He was titled Rabbi Shlomo Hasida Ve-Prisha.

Another line, through Rabbi Galdes' second wife, included R' Moshe Shlomo, Rabbi Baruch Meir's teacher in Ilya.
